Rosazzo

DOCG area for white wine in the Italian region Friuli Venezia Giulia. The classification took place in 2011, until then the wine was included in the DOC area Colli Orientali del Friuli. The zone covers about 50 hectares of vineyards in the municipalities of Corno di Rosazzo, Manzano and San Giovanni al Natisone in the province of Udine. The white wine is blended from Friulano = Sauvignonasse (zum. 50%), Sauvignon = Sauvignon Blanc and/or Pinot Bianco = Pinot Blanc and/or Chardonnay (20 to 30%), Ribolla Gialla (max. 10%), as well as other authorised varieties (max. 5%).
