Rossara

The red grape variety originates from Italy (according to the entry in the VIVC catalogue). However, it is not certain whether an independent (red) variety with this name actually exists. Rossara is also part of the name of other Italian grape varieties such as Molinara, Rossara Trentina and Schiava Lombarda. A Rossara was allegedly grown in Emilia-Romagna in the past. In 2016, however, no stocks were reported for a variety with this name (Kym Anderson statistics).
