The white grape variety comes from Italy, In spite of apparently indicative synonyms, it may not be of the variety Grillo (Rossese Bianco) or one of the other four different white ones Rossese varieties be confused. It is also not a color mutation of the red variety Rossese di Dolceacqua (synonym for the French variety common in Liguria Tibouren ). The variety is grown exclusively in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba in the province of Cuneo Piedmont grown. The endangered variety was reactivated by the winegrower Giovanni Manzoni in 1980. In 2010, however, no stock was shown (Statistics Kym Anderson ).
