Rotenfels

single vineyard in the municipality of Traisen in the German wine-growing region of Nahe. The name is derived from the 327-metre-high rock face of the same name, at the foot of which some plots of the site are located. The south-facing vineyards at an altitude of 140 to 280 metres above sea level with a slope of 5 to 40% cover 15 hectares of vineyards on slightly loamy porphyry weathered soils. Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir are cultivated here. The Dr. Crusius and Racknitz wineries, for example, have shares in the site.

There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
