Ruby Golodrigi

The red variety (also Ruby of Golodryga) is an interspecific new breed between Rubinovy Magaracha x Magarach 6-68-27 ( Ravat Blanc x Asian pollen). They are genes of Vitis amurensis and Vitis vinifera contain. The intersection of hybrid took place in 1974 in Yalta in the Ukraine by the breeders P. Golodriga, M. Kostik and V. Yurchenko. The medium maturing vine is generally resistant to disease and extreme frost resistant to minus 26 degrees Celsius. It produces dark red wines, which are used for different wine styles. In 2010 were in Russia 82 hectares (Statistics Kym Anderson ).
