The "Rüdesheim sparkling wine cellar OHLIG GmbH and Co. KG" is located in the municipality Rüdesheim in the German growing area Rheingau, The company was founded in 1919 by Anton Ohlig under the name "Rheingauer Schaumweinkellerei Ohlig & Co.". In the 1950s, the descendants of the founder joined forces with the Kloss family, who had been expropriated in the east.
