The "Rüdesheimer Sektkellerei OHLIG GmbH and Co. KG" is located in the municipality Rüdesheim in the German wine-growing region Rheingau, The company was founded in 1919 by Anton Ohlig under the name "Rheingauer Schaumweinkellerei Ohlig & Co.". In the 1950s, the descendants of the founder joined forces with the Kloss family, who had been expropriated in the east.
