Sablet

Independent communal area in the département of Vaucluse in the southern French appellation Côtes du Rhône-Villages (see the AOC regulations there). The commune has been allowed to use the name on the label since 1974. The vineyards cover 230 hectares on reddish sandstone soils. Red, rosé and white wines are produced. Well-known producers are Château du Trignon, Domaine le Goubert, Domaine du Parandou, Domaine de Piaugier and Domaine de Verquière.
