Independent community area in the southern French appellation Côtes du Rhône-Villages (see the AOC regulations there). In a square in the municipality of Sainte-Cécile is a bronze statue of the French wine pioneer and founder of the INAO Baron Pierre Le Roy Boiseaumarié (1890-1967) with a thank-you note from the local winegrowers. The municipality has been allowed since 2017, the name in addition to the label this applies to red, rosé and white wines. The vineyards cover 240 hectares of vineyards with muddy muddy soil in the northern part and in the southern part with predominantly calcareous pebble on sandy loamy soil. They extend over the communities Suze-la-Rousse and Tulette in the department Drôme, as well as Sainte-Cecile-les-Vignes, Sérignan-du-Comtat and Travaillan in the département Vaucluse, Well-known producers are the two co-operative wineries Cécilia and Colombe des Vignes.
