Independent community area in the southern French appellation Cotes du Rhone-Villages (see the AOC regulations there). A bronze statue of the French wine pioneer and founder of the is located on a square in the municipality of Sainte-Cécile INAO Baron Pierre Le Roy Boiseaumarié (1890-1967) with an inscription of thanks from the local winegrowers. The municipality has been allowed to use the name on the label list, this applies to red, rosé and white wines. The vineyards cover 240 hectares of vineyards with muddy clay soils in the northern part with pebbles and in the southern part with predominantly calcareous pebbles on sandy clay soils.
