Sainte Marie

The white grape comes from France, Synonyms are Sainte-Marie de Biviers and Saint Marie. According to done in 2012 DNA analysis it is a presumably natural cross between Gouais blanc x Chasselas, However, this is based on only 20 DNA markers (see under molecular Genetics ). Incidentally, the same parents are also the varieties Plant de Séchex and Plant de Vincelles emerged. The variety is in the Gascogne cultivated.
