DOC area for red wines, rosé wines and white wines in the centre of the Salento peninsula (the "heel of the boot") in the Italian region of Puglia. In the province of Lecce, the zone includes the municipalities of Guagnano, Salice Salentino and Veglie, as well as a part of Campi Salentina. And in the province of Brindisi, it includes the municipalities of San Donaci and San Pancrazio Salentino, as well as a part of Cellino San Marco.

The Bianco is pressed from Chardonnay (zum. 70%). Rosso and Rosato are produced from Negroamaro (zum. 70%). The pure wines must consist of at least 85% (white) and 90% (red) of the variety in question. These are Chardonnay, Fiano, Pinot Bianco(Pinot Blanc) and Negroamaro (also as Rosato). For the rest, all other varieties are allowed.

The sweet red wines Aleatico Dolce and Aleatico Liquoroso Dolce are produced from Aleatico (85%), as well as in any use or mixture of Negroamaro, Malvasia Nera di Brindisi and Primitivo (max. 15%). A Spumante is available from all white wines, as well as from Rosato and Negroamaro Rosato. There is a longer matured Riserva of all red wines.
