The white grape comes from Spain, Synonyms include Albana, Cencibel de la Mancha, Forenses, Laeren del Ray, Lairén, Layrenes, Magdalena, Temprana, Temprana Agosta, Tempranilla Blanca, Tempranillo Blanco and Tempranillo de la Rioja. Due to the synonyms it is not allowed with the varieties Lairén or Tempranillo Blanco (a color mutation of Tempranillo ) be confused. According to done in 2013 DNA analysis it is a presumably natural cross between Planta Fina de Pedralba ( Damaschino ) x Legiruela (see under Prié ). No stocks were reported in 2010 (Kym Anderson ).
