The white grape variety (also Geisenheim 7815-1) is a new breed between Arnsburger x Seyve-Villard 1-72 ( Rayon d'Or x Bertille Seyve 450). They are genes from Vitis aestivalis. Vitis labrusca. Vitis riparia. Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera contain. The crossing of the hybrid took place in 1978 in the research institute Geisenheim (Rheingau) by Dr. Helmut Becker (1927-1990). The medium-late ripening vine is resistant to both mildews and Botrytis which is why they are considered PIWI Variety applies. It produces acidic, a Pinot Blanc ( Pinot Blanc ) similar white wines. No stocks were shown in 2010 (Kym Anderson ).
