DOC area for white wine in the Italian region of Sardinia. The wines could be produced all over the island, but the vineyards cover only three hectares. The Mogoro subzone includes the municipalities of Baressa, Gonnoscodina, Gonnostramatza, Masullas, Mogoro, Pompu, Simala, Siris and Uras in the province of Oristano, and Sardara and Villanovaforru in the province of Medio Campidano. The wine is made from at least 85% of the autochthonous Semidano variety and a maximum of 15% of other authorised varieties. The wine types are Bianco, Bianco Mogoro, Superiore, Passito and Spumante.
