Sauvignon Sary

The white grape variety (breeding no. WE 70-267-14) is a new breed between Riesling x Sauvignon Blanc. Incidentally, the same parents also produced the two varieties Sauvignon Cita and Sauvignon Gryn. The crossing took place in 1970 at the Staatliche Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt Weinsberg in Württemberg. The variety protection was granted in 2013. The medium-ripening vine has a reduced risk of plication due to its sparse foliage. It produces fruity white wines similar to Sauvignon Blanc. No stocks were recorded in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).

Trauben Sauvignon Cita, Sauvignon Gryn, Sauvignon Sary
