DOC area for dry red, rosé and white wine in the Italian region Calabria, The zone comprises parts of the municipalities of Falerna and Nocera Terinese in the eponymous Scavigna area of the province of Catanzaro. The composition of the varieties was changed significantly in 2011. The Bianco is made from Traminer Arimatico Gewurztraminer (max. 50%), Chardonnay (max. 30%), Pinot Bianco = Pinot Blanc (max. 10%), Riesling Italico = Riesling (max. 10%), as well as other approved varieties (max. 45%) blended. Rosso and Rosato are out Aglianico (max. 60%), Magliocco Canino (max. 20%), as well as other approved varieties (max. 45%).
