Schaefer Karl

The estate is located in the municipality of Bad Dürkheim (area Mittelhaardt-German Wine Route) in the German wine-growing region palatinate, It was from the doctor. Christian Schaefer, who had acquired the Classicist manor house, now protected as a cultural monument, in 1843. The company got its present name from its son Karl Schaefer, a pioneer of bottling. Bottle-fermented sect and brandies (pomace) are also produced. The winery is VDP Member (Verband deutscher Prädikatsweingüter).
