Schantlrebe

The white grape variety (also Schantl grape) is a new breed between Müller-Thurgau x Ruländer ( Pinot gris ). The crossing was made by Ing. David Schantl around 1976 at the Weinbauinstitut Silberberg (Styria, Austria). It produces one fruity White wine. The variety is grown in small quantities in Austria.
