Schantlrebe

This white grape variety (also known as Schantltraube) is a new cross between Müller-Thurgau x Ruländer (Pinot Gris). The cross was made by David Schantl around 1976 at the Viticulture Institute Silberberg (Styria, Austria). It produces a fruity white wine. The variety is cultivated in small quantities in Austria. However, no stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
