The "Winzerhof Schindler" winery is located in the municipality of Mörbisch (Kinogasse 9) in the Neusiedlersee-Hügelland wine-growing region of Burgenland (Austria). A bed and breakfast is attached. Viticulture in the family goes back to a long tradition and was refined and intensified by Michael Schindler in the early 1960s. Today, the business is run by his son Harald, who, after his technical education and a year of practical training, completed a marketing course. He completed his knowledge through wine trips all over the world. The vineyards cover eight hectares of vines in the Altenberg, Haid, Kräftn, Satz, Umriss and Wieser vineyards. Half of the vineyards are planted with the red varieties Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, Merlot and Syrah, and half with the white varieties Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling, Weißburgunder, Grauburgunder, Chardonnay, Neuburger, Muskateller and Sauvignon Blanc. The white wines are mostly vinified in steel tanks, the red wines in large wooden barrels or barriques.

The premium wines include, for example, "Mörbischer Opernballwein" (Welschriesling), "Mörbischer Premiere" (Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Neuburger), the "Excelso" selected from the best wines of the best barrels of a vintage, the "Fuego" (Blaufränkisch, Merlot, Zweigelt) matured for 18 months in barriques, the "Blaufränkisch Classic" matured for 18 months in barriques, and the "Vigoroso" (Pinot Gris) fermented in barriques and then matured for three months. About 5% of the production are Prädikat sweet wines (Spätlese, Auslese, Beerenauslese, Ausbruch, Trockenbeerenauslese). Since 2006, the winery has been the sole and official supplier of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. In collaboration with the orchestra, the wines "Silver Rose" (Welschriesling) and "Democracy of Kings" (Blaufränkisch and Syrah, 18 months in new barriques) were created. Bottle-fermented sparkling wine and the brandy "Aton" (matured for 7 years in barriques) are also produced.
