The winery is located in Middle Franconia's largest wine town Bullenheim (wine paradise Franconia) in the German wine-growing region Franconia
, A wine bar with regional cuisine called "Johannesstuben" is connected. The business is run by Frank Schmidt and his son Lukas. The vineyards cover 12 hectares of vineyards in the single location Bullenheimer Paradies on the southern foothills of the Steigerwald. They are planted with the white varieties Silvaner, Bacchus, Müller-Thurgau, Riesling, Scheurebe and Traminer, as well as with the red varieties Domina, Dornfelder, Regent, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Dorsa. The premium wines include the red wines Spätburgunder Premium, Regent Premium and Cabernet Dorsa Premium, which are vinified from reduced-yield grapes (50 hl / ha) and aged in barrels for 12 months. vinified. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines, Secco and brandies are also produced. The winery is a member of the Vielfalter association.
