The winery is located in the municipality of Röschitz in the west of the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Weinviertel. The traditional family business has been growing grapes for many generations. It is managed by Gerald Schneider, who, after graduating from the viticulture school in Krems and years of apprenticeship at other wineries in Austria and abroad, now concentrates fully on his own winemaking. The vineyards cover nine hectares of vineyards in the Galgenberg, Hundspoint (pictured), Königsberg and Reipersberg vineyards on loess and primary rock soils. 80% of the vineyards are planted with the leading variety Grüner Veltliner, as well as Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Blanc. Natural, environmentally friendly viticulture is consistently practised, for example with green manure. Quality criteria are short pruning, intensive foliage care, yield reduction and high-quality healthy grape material.

The grapes are processed gently and then fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wines are then stored on the fine le es for a longer period of time. According to the philosophy of the winery, the aim is to bring out the clear fruit and the richness of finesse in all wines. Depending on the type of wine, it is matured in stainless steel tanks or in large wooden barrels. In addition to the Weinviertel DAC Classic, the premium wines include the Veltliner Galgenberg and Königsberg sites as well as the Reserve vom Granit (Grüner Veltliner). The winery is a member of the Weinviertel Wine Route Winegrowers' Association.
