The winery is located in the municipality of Poysdorf in the north-east of the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Weinviertel. It is a classic family business, where Josef and Gertrude Schuckert share the work with their son Rainer. The vineyards cover 19 hectares of vines, divided into 30 plots in the vineyards Alte Geringen, Hermannschachern, Lehmäcker, Nestelbecher, Saurüsseln, Steinberg, Stöckelweingärten and Weißer Berg. They are 80% planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Chardonnay, Riesling, Welschriesling and Pinot Blanc, and 20% with the red wine varieties Blauer Zweigelt, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Blauer Portugieser, Blauburger and Merlot. Natural viticulture is consistently practised according to ecological principles. A special passion of the family is Grüner Veltliner, which is produced as Weinviertel DAC, straw wine and ice wine, as well as in barrique. An important branch of production is bottle-fermented, hand-shaken sparkling wines. A sparkling wine series as well as the tasting room are named "Antonio" after a famous ancestor, the enologist, literary figure and wine merchant Antonio Dal Piaz Menotti (1847-1915) from Mistelbach. In addition, a wide range of noble brandies is also produced. Around 60,000 bottles of wine are produced annually.
