Sedimentation

Term (also settling, settling) for the deposition of particles from liquids or gases under the influence of gravity or centrifugal force. In winemaking, this is understood to be the automatic degumming. Sediment is sometimes also used to describe the deposit (sediment) in a wine bottle. See also under " Beautiful".
