The "Seehof - Ernst Fauth" winery is located in the municipality of Westhofen (Wonnegau area) in the German wine-growing region of Rheinhessen. The family has been cultivating vines on the over 1,200-year-old Seehof for four generations. Today, the farm is run by Ernst and Ruth Fauth. Son Florian has been responsible for the cellar and vinification since 1999. A guest house is attached. The vineyards cover 15 hectares of vineyards in the Westhofen vineyards Kirchspiel Morstein, Rotenstein and Steingrube. They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling, Silvaner, Pinot Gris, Auxerrois, Pinot Blanc, Huxelrebe and Scheurebe, as well as with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, Frühburgunder and Portugieser. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines are also produced. The winery is a member of the Message in a Bottle vintners' association.
