Separators

Mechanical device (also centrifuges) made of stainless steel for removing substances from liquids; see under centrifuging.

Process (also sewage centrifuging, separation) in which certain particles are removed from a liquid by means of mechanical centrifuges (separators) using centrifugal force (centrifugal force). Depending on the type of centrifuge, 4,000 to 6,000 times the force of gravity is generated. In viticulture, stainless steel devices are used, especially in larger operations.
