The white grape variety (also GM 6495-4) is a new breed between Saperavi Severny x ( Foster's White Seedling x splendor grape ). They are genes from Vitis amurensis and Vitis vinifera contain. The crossing of the hybrid was done in 1964 by Vilém crinkly (1924-2103) in Lednice in the former Czechoslovakia. The rearing and selection of the seedlings was then in Geisenheim (Rheingau) under Dr. Helmut Becker (1927-1990). New breeding is also with the same parents Sibera The early ripening vine is resistant to both mildews and frost as well as on the basis of looseness of low susceptible to Botrytis, It produces rich white wines.
