The red grape variety is an interspecific new variety between Seyve Villard 12-358 (crossbreed of Seibel 6468 x Subereux) x Svatovavřinecké(St. Laurent). The name was formed from the parent varieties. It contains genes of Vitis berlandieri, Vitis labrusca, Vitis lincecumii, Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in the Czech Republic in 1964 by Václav Křivánek (1927-2009). The plant variety protection was granted in 2008. The late ripening vine is exceptionally resistant to the fungal diseases downy mildew and powdery mildew. It produces dark red wines with soft tannins and fruity aromas of raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, currants and blueberries. The variety is grown in the Czech Republic (Moravia) and Poland. In 2016, no stocks were reported (Kym Anderson).
