Producer description of "Weingut Siener"
The winery is located in the municipality of Birkweiler (Südliche Weinstraße area) in the German wine-growing region of Pfalz. It is managed by Peter Siener. The vineyards cover 15 hectares of vines in the single vineyards Kastanienbusch and Mandelberg (Birkweiler), as well as Sonnenberg (Leinsweiler). They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Silvaner, as well as with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, St. Laurent, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The wines are fermented spontaneously. They are produced in the lines Litre Wines, Estate Wines, First Site Wines and Best Site Wines. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines are also produced. The winery is a member of the Südpfalz-Connexion association.
