The white grape variety is a new breed between Verdiso x Maddalene Reale ( Madeleine Royale ). Synonyms are Incrocio Dalmasso X / 12 and Dalmasso 10/12. The crossing took place in 1938 Conegliano (Veneto) by Giovanni Dalmasso (1886-1974). The medium to late ripening vine produces neutral white wines and is also called table grape used. It is in small quantities in the regions Apulia (Taranto), Tuscany (Siena) and Veneto (Treviso) grown. In 2010 were in Italy 14 hectares of vineyards reported (Kym Anderson ).
