The Greek winery "Ktima Spiropoulos" is located in Arkadia in the Mantinia area in the centre of the island of Peloponnese. It was founded in 1860 by the Spiropoulos family, and viticulture has been practised on this very spot since ancient times. This is evidenced by a 2,000-year-old wine container made of solid marble found in the wine cellar. In 1994, the business was reorganised by Epaminondas Spiropoulos. His son Apostolos, who had studied agronomy in Greece and oenology in the USA, took over the business in 2001 and built a second winery in Korinthia in the Nemea area. He handed over the business to his sister Konstantina Spyropoulou.

The vineyards cover 200 hectares of vines. The indigenous grape varieties Agiorgitiko, Lagorthi, Mavrud and Moschofilero, as well as the international varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc are cultivated. The vineyards are cultivated according to the rules of organic viticulture using the Delinat method. The vineyards are bordered by trees, shrubs, hedges, meadows, woodland and water and promote biodiversity. Various OPAP wines Mantinia and Nemea, as well as PGE wines (country wines) are produced.
