St. Remigius

The estate is located in the municipality of Merdingen (Tuniberg area) in the German wine-growing region to bathe, It was founded in 1988 by Edgar Bärmann and Conrad Isele. The vineyards cover eight hectares of vineyards in the individual layers Bühl (Merdingen), Rotgrund (Niederrimsing) and Schlossberg (Achkarren). They are planted with the red varieties Pinot Noir (around 50% of the total area) and Merlot, as well as with the white varieties Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Müller-Thurgau, Riesling, Muscat, Gewürztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc. Environmentally friendly, environmentally friendly management is practiced.

The grapes are carefully processed after selective hand picking. The wines are vinified according to the location and vintage. The red wines mature after maceration in traditional wooden barrels or in barriques. In the predominantly dry-aged white wines, care is taken to ensure that it is fully fermented after careful pressing. The premium wines include the Pinot Noir Remigius and Pinot Noir Auslese, as well as the Riesling Niederrimsinger Rotgrund and Chardonnay Achkarrer Schlossberg white wines. There are also rose wines and Weißherbste, on Blanc de noirs, bottle-fermented sparkling wine and various tester brandies. Many noble brandies made from pome and stone fruit are produced from one and a half hectares in our own distillery.
