The "Stachlburg Castle Winery - Baron Sigmund Kripp" is located in the municipality of Parcines (Parcines) in the Italian wine-growing region of South Tyrol (Trentino-South Tyrol). It was founded in 1990 by Baron Sigmund Kripp. Besides viticulture, fruit growing is also practised. The vineyards cover 7.5 hectares of vineyards at an altitude of 650 metres above sea level in a sunny, south-facing hilly position. The white wine varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Gewürztraminer are cultivated, as well as the red wine varieties Lagrein, Vernatsch, Pinot Noir and Merlot. Organic viticulture is practised according to the guidelines of Bioland. Depending on the type of wine, the wines are aged in steel tanks or in barriques. The product range includes various DOC wines from South Tyrol(Terlaner, Vinschgau), bottle-fermented sparkling wines and IGT wines. The winery is a member of the Association of Free Winegrowers South Tyrol.

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
