The winery is located in the municipality of Falkenstein in the north-east of the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Weinviertel. The family business has been here since 1726, and today it is run by Johannes and Maria Stadler. A wine tavern is attached. The vineyards cover 36 hectares in the Ebersleithen, Ekartsberg, Kirchberg, Rabenstein, Rosenberg, Sandl and Sonnleiten vineyards. They are planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Blanc, Welschriesling, Riesling, Müller-Thurgau, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Blauer Portugieser, St. Laur ent, Blauburger, Merlot and Pinot Noir. The vineyards are cultivated in a natural, environmentally friendly way. This includes cover crop, short pruning and consistent thinning out of the grapes. The musts are fermented under temperature control, after which the white wines are stored in stainless steel tanks, while the red wines are matured in large wooden barrels until the optimal filling date. The premium wines include various Grüner Veltliner Weinviertel DAC and Weinviertel DAC Reserve. Various noble brandies (marc, lees, wine, fruit) are also produced. Around 150,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. The winery is a member of the Falkensteiner Berggericht community.
