On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the reign of Duke Christian of Saxony-Weissenfels, an extraordinary monument was erected in 1722 in a vineyard near the village of Großjena (Saxony-Anhalt). The client was the court jeweler JC Steinauer from Naumburg. The "Stone Picture Book" or "Stone Album" is a 200 meters long relief of 12 pictures, which was hewn from a forthcoming rock stage of the middle Buntsandstein. It shows scenes from the Old Testament of the Bible Doing the work in the vineyard, the Weingenuss and show its consequences and, of course, pay homage to the Duke. The figure-adorned balustrade along the upper edge of the terrace was reconstructed on the basis of old photographs and some existing remains.
