stock division

A method of vegetative propagation of plants. It is suitable for plants, from whose rhizomes several shoots to grow. The stump divides the rootstock into as many cuts as there are shoots or buds. From a root ball, so to speak, two or more are made. However, due to lack of efficiency, this method is not suitable for producing a large number of genetically identical plants.
