The Josef Störrlein winery is located in the municipality of Randersacker (Main triangle) in the German wine-growing region Franconia, The business was taken over by the parents in the 1960s from Armin and Ruth Störrlein. The vineyards cover eight hectares of vineyards in individual locations Marsberg and Sonnenstuhl, They are planted with the varieties Silvaner, Müller-Thurgau, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, Black Riesling, Bacchus, Domina, Scheurebe and Cabernet Sauvignon. It is consistently practiced near-natural viticulture. Most of the wines are traditionally aged in large wooden barrels, but also in steel tanks and barriques. They are vinified in the Edition Christiane (youthful, fruity wines), Franconia tradition (grape varieties from individual layers), TRIAS (large plants) and noble sweet wines.
