Stolzenberg

single vineyard in the municipality of Hatzenport (Burg Cochem area) in the German Moselle wine-growing region. The south-facing vineyard at an altitude of 80 to 200 metres above sea level with a slope of 20 to 80% comprises only 1.5 hectares of vines on grey-brown, sandy Devonian slate soil with a high rock content. Here, mainly Riesling is cultivated. Shares are held, for example, by the wineries Gietzen Albrecht and Heymann-Löwenstein.
