Storgozia

The red variety (also Storgoziya) is an interspecific new breed between Buket x Seyve-Villard 12-375 ( Villard Blanc ). The intersection of hybrid took place in 1976 in Bulgaria by the breeder I. Ivanov. The name was given to the ancient Roman name for the city of Pleven. The high-yielding vine is resistant to both mildews and Botrytis, as well as against wintry frost, It produces acid-stressed, alcohol-rich red wines with aging potential.
