The white grape variety is a new breed between Cardinal
x unknown seedless variety. Synonyms are Menidee Seedless and Sugra One. The crossing took place in the USA
by the breeder John M. Garabedian. It is mainly called table grape
but also used for the production of wine. The variety was formerly in Argentina
widespread, where in 2000 they still 2.835 hectares of vineyards occupied. In 2010, however, no stocks were reported here; in Peru
it was nine hectares. There is also an early ripening mutation
named Early Superior Seeds
(Sugra Five, Sugar 5, Superior Early).
