The German wine journalist, photographer, author and wine critic
Dr. Eckhard Supp (* 1950) studied history, philosophy, sociology and politics at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt / Main from 1969 to 1975. Supp was instrumental in the compilation of the register volume of the entire Hegel edition by Suhrkamp-Verlag. From 1977 to 1984 he lived and worked as a freelance journalist and photographer in Paris. In this context, long reportage trips took him to many countries around the world. The author's work mainly covers the subject areas of travel, food and drinks. Since 1995 he has published around 20 books on the subject of wine at ENO Verlag. (Ed. 1996), Encyclopedia of German Wine (Ed. 1997), Eno-Guide: 100 tips for wine (1999), wine glossary for globetrotters (2004) and Der Brockhaus - Wein. (Red. Head of 2009). From the book series "Wine & Travel", published since 2001, there are volumes on the wine and travel destinations Australia, Barolo, Barbaresco, Burgenland, Rhône, South Africa, Tuscany, Veneto, Wien .
