Among the red Zinfandels, the "Amador" is the best-known brand. Since the year 1995 there is the label M. Trinchero named in honor of the company founder Mario Trinchero . For this, as it were, a "winery in the winery" was built with special conditions. These include small fermentation tanks to remove small quantities individually, new French oak barrels and an innovative mist system in the barrel storage for better maturation. Under the responsibility of star winemaker Derek Holstein, top-quality wines from Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc are produced from the best locations in the Napa Valley. Each layer is individually vinified and only the barrels with the best and finest characteristics and the greatest complexity then selected.
