The winery is located in the municipality of Bruck/Leitha in the Carnuntum wine-growing region of Lower Austria. It is managed by Alois Taferner. The vineyards cover about four hectares of vineyards in the Langen Ohn, Übermassen and Ungarberg vineyards. They are planted with the white wine varieties Rivaner (Müller-Thurgau) and Welschriesling, as well as with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec (Cot). The vineyards are cultivated according to the regulations of the KIP (controlled, integrated production) in viticulture. Quality-enhancing measures in the vineyard include careful pruning, gentle soil care, cover crop, foliage care with shoot and leaf selection and thinning out of the grapes. The grapes are processed and vinified using both modern technology and traditional methods. The white wines are traditionally vinified dry, with particular attention paid to preserving the fruity notes. After fermentation on the skins, some of the red wines are aged classically to preserve the varietal character, and some of them are also matured in barrique barrels.
