The white grape variety is a new cross between Katta Kurgan x Kishmish Rozovyi (mutation of Sultana). The crossing was made in 1958 in Armenia by the breeder R. A. Ergesyan. The vine is used as a wine grape and table grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
