Taminga

The white grape variety is a new breed between Merbein 29-56 (Planta Pedralba x Sultana ) x Red Traminer ( Gewurztraminer ). The crossing took place in 1970 on CSIRO Institute in Merbein - Australia by AJ Antcliff. Of the variety protection was granted in 1982. The late-ripening, high-yielding vine is resistant to drought, It produces aromatic, acid white wines and is also called table grape used. The variety is grown in the regions of South Australia ( Riverland ) and New South Wales.
