Tamjanika

Synonymous (also Tamianka, Tamjanka, Tamjanika Bela, Tamjanika Bijela, Tamnjanika, Tamnjanika Bela, Tamyanka) for the grape variety Muscat Blanc; look there.

The white grape variety probably comes from Italy or Greece, or more broadly expressed "from the Mediterranean region". It is the noblest but not the most common variety from the large group of muscatel (see general information there). The French name Muscat Blanc is used most frequently worldwide, the full name after the berry shape is Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains Ronds (Petits Grains Ronds = small round berries). Around 300 Synonyms testify the old age and the worldwide spread. There is hardly one Weinbauland where it is not grown. Some of them are game types with the berry colors white (by far the most common), yellow, gray, green, pink, red, brown, violet, blue and black.
