Tarnave

The most important and oldest wine region (also Tirnave) in the Transylvania region in the center Romania, Most of the vineyards are located on steep mountain slopes along the rivers Kleine Tarnava and Große Tarnava at an altitude of up to 300 meters. The area is one of the coolest in Romania and is best known for its attractive white wines. Sparkling wines are also produced.
