Tebrizi

The white grape variety originates from Azerbaijan. The 90 or so synonyms indicate the vine's great age and once widespread distribution. Some of them are Adreouli, Elizavetpolsky, Gandjouri, Kirovabadski Stolovji (and similar), Shakhskyi, Shiradzouli Belyi, Tabriz, Tabrizeni, Tabrizi, Tabrizy, Tavrisi, Tigva, Tivda, Tivga, Tigvoasa and White Shira Grape. The parentage is unknown. Despite seemingly suggestive synonyms or morphological similarities, it must not be confused with the Moldavian variety Tigvoasa. It is a parent of the varieties Barkhatnyi and Nektar (2). The cultivar is used as a vine grape vine grape and table grape. No stock was reported in 2016 (Kym AndersonAnderson Kym).

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
