The winery is located in the municipality Gols
in the Burgenland wine-growing region Lake Neusiedl
(Austria). The origin dates back to 1970, when Matthias Temer jun. and Anneliese Temer started bottling and marketing bottled wine. The company is run today by son Ing. Christian Temer, supported by his brother Alexander. The vineyards cover over four hectares of vineyards in the vineyards Grossfeld, heath land, Hengstgruber and Strassacker the municipalities Gols, Podersdorf and pastures on the east bank. They are planted to 55% with the red varieties Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch
and St. Laurent, and to 45% with the white varieties Welschriesling, Pinot Blanc and Grüner Veltliner.
The management takes place according to the guidelines of the KIP
(Controlled Integrated Production) with, for example, partial greening, gentle crop protection and consistent foliage work. Quality criteria are short pruning
. thin out
and selective hand-picking. The white wines are fermented in stainless steel tanks and large wooden barrels, where they then mature. The red wines are fermented traditionally on the mash in large vats. After the BSA in the steel tank, a large part of the maturation in large oak barrels or in oak barrels.
