The white grape variety (also Tempranillo Royo, Tinta de Toro Gris) comes from Spain. It is a mutation of the red Tempranillo variety with grey berries. It was discovered in 2006 in the Toro area (Castile-León). No stock was reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson). Another mutation is Tempranillo Blanco.
