The family-owned company based in Florence in the Tuscany (Italy) has a very long tradition. The family has been traceable in Florence since 1300 and, from the 15th to the 17th century, became one of the wealthiest and most influential Florentine families. She founded her wealth with banking and textile trade. Among other things, they financed ruling houses such as the English royal family. From a very early age, the family was involved in viticulture and agriculture. As early as the 14th century, wines were delivered to many European ruling courts.
