Terez

The white grape variety is an interspecific new variety between Eger 2 (Villard Blanc) x Olimpia. Synonyms are Terec, Teresa, Theresa and Therese. It contains genes from Vitis berlandieri, Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in 1986 in Hungary by the breeders J. Füri and E. Visontai. The vine is resistant to both types of mildew. It is used as table grape and ornamental vine. No stock was reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
